Two programs, two checkouts

There are two ways to be a Varity affiliate, and a customer belongs to whichever one they actually bought through.

The main program runs on Reditus. You join there, your link comes from there, and the person you refer subscribes on our site.

The second program runs on Whop, for partners who already sell there. Your referral buys through Whop instead, and Whop handles that payout.

Both pay 30%. Do not promote both links to the same audience expecting to be paid twice for one customer. A customer is credited once, to the program they bought through.

What you earn

You earn 30% of what a customer you referred pays Varity for their subscription. It repeats every month, for as long as that customer stays subscribed.

Our plan prices are published on the pricing page. Thirty percent of each one looks like this:

Commission is 30% of the money actually collected, so it follows the customer. It also stops. If they cancel, or a payment fails and nothing is collected, there is no commission for that month.

Those prices are the monthly plans. A customer can also pay annually, and then they pay once a year instead of once a month. Your 30% follows the payment, so on an annual plan it arrives once a year rather than every month.

This is arithmetic on our list prices. It is not a forecast, it is not typical, and it is not a promise. What you earn depends on who signs up and whether they stay.

Free trials

A free trial does not earn commission while it is free. No money is collected, so there is nothing to take a share of.

The month the trial converts into a paid subscription is the month your commission starts, and it continues for as long as that subscription keeps paying.

A trial that is cancelled before it converts earns nothing.

Upgrades and downgrades

Your commission is set by the plan the customer started on.

If they upgrade, your commission does not rise with them. Someone who starts on Starter at $29 and later moves to Studio at $100 still earns you 30% of $29.

If they downgrade, your commission follows them down. Someone who starts on Studio at $100 and later moves to Starter at $29 earns you 30% of $29 from that point on.

In one line: 30% of the lower of the plan they started on and the plan they are on now.

What does not earn commission

Commission is on subscription revenue. These do not earn:

• Credit packs and any other one off purchase.
• A free trial, for as long as it is free.
• Any month where a payment fails and nothing is collected.
• Your own subscription. Referring yourself is not a discount.

What the platform decides

Each program runs on a platform, and that platform owns the mechanics: who gets credit for a signup and for how long, when payouts land, any minimum payout, and what happens when a customer refunds or charges back.

For the main program those rules are Reditus's. For the Whop program they are Whop's. Read them on the platform you joined. We do not restate them here, because we are not the ones who set them.

Keep your account on that platform in good standing and your details accurate. It is the account we pay through.

How you can promote Varity

Sell the product honestly. That is the whole rule. In practice:

• Say what it does. It cuts your channel into clips and posts them.
• Do not invent numbers. No made up view counts, reach stats or member counts.
• Do not promise earnings, yours or anyone else's.
• Do not put earnings dollar figures in paid ad creative.
• Do not use fake reviews or fake testimonials.
• Do not claim to be Varity or to speak for Varity.
• Do not refer yourself. Your own link is not a discount on your own plan, and accounts dressed up to look like new customers are the same thing.
• Do not bid on our brand in paid search. No ads on the word Varity, on close misspellings of it, or on our page names.
• Do not spam. No mass unsolicited DMs, no bulk email to people who did not ask, no comment or forum spam.
• Do not put Varity in a domain, handle or app name, and do not build anything that looks like it is run by us.
• Say that your link is an affiliate link. That is the law in most places, and it is the decent thing anyway.

When a commission does not stand

Commission is earned on money we actually keep. A commission does not stand when the payment behind it is:

• Refunded.
• Charged back.
• Fraudulent, or made with stolen payment details.
• The result of breaking a rule above.

Ending an account, or the program

Break these rules or use fraud and we can close your affiliate account and hold back unpaid commission on the referrals it affected. We do not have to warn you first.

We can also end either program. If we wind one down for any other reason, we will post it here and give notice before it takes effect.

Being an affiliate does not make you an employee, a partner or an agent of Varity. You cannot sign anything or commit to anything for us.

No guaranteed earnings

This is not financial advice, and it is not an income offer.

We do not guarantee that you will earn anything. There is no typical result, because it depends entirely on who you reach and whether they subscribe and stay.

If the program changes

The commission rate lives in our program settings on each platform. If it ever changes, that platform's page is the source of truth.

We can update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and give notice before a material change takes effect. Keep promoting Varity after that and it counts as accepting the change.

Each platform can change its own affiliate terms too. Those are still the ones to check for payout mechanics.
